This project has increased its production using waste plastics as a Raw Material for manufacturing of plastic related items after commissioning newly purchased machinery financed by LDB. The project has created new employment opportunities for eight persons while contributing towards an environment friendly cause and increasing his revenue. He has started this project in 2006 and progressed up to a sustainable level.

Hambantota Branch of LDB is a frontline bank providing financial facilities to industrialists and entrepreneurs in the area. Among many such customers, Mr. A.W. Leelasena Pahalagama, Angunakolapelessa, is a dairy farmer with 20 years of experience and explosure gained from his father who also owns a herd of 30 cows.
Mr. Leelasena commenced his dairy in small scale and developed it up to a farm consisting of 100 cows including hybrid varieties, with our financial assistance for which he is grateful.
