Vasudevan is one of farmers who were fortunate to receive loans from the LDB Kandy – Branch at its Mobile service on flexible terms and managed his farm activities using his newly acquired machine defeating the threat posed by shortage of labour prevailing in the area.

LDB Kegalle Branch financed a polythene recycling project named “Macro Plastics” owned and managed by Mr. N.A.A. Wasantha Kumara. This project has increased its production using waste plastics as a Raw Material for manufacturing of plastic related items after commissioning newly purchased machinery financed by LDB. The project has created new employment opportunities for eight persons while contributing towards an environment friendly cause and increasing his revenue. He has started this project in 2006 and progressed up to a sustainable level.

Leelasena Pahalagama, Angunakolapelessa, is a dairy farmer with 20 years of experience and explosure gained from his father who also owns a herd of 30 cows.
